The energy sector, which is pillar of development of Mongolia. In year 1922, foundation of development of energy and industry established. We have history that consisted aggregated energy system by establishing first thermal power plant in year 1932. Currently, 15 energy sources with installed capacity 1277MW mixed with renewable energy and traditional are operating and providing 80 percent of total electricity demand. 

History page revolves, at present this sector is meeting with 95 years anniversary and electricity demand has been reached at 1000MW as 1GW at 18:35 on 28th of November 2017. This event was highlighted event in the history of industry of Mongolia.
