Tax free for importing electricity
State great convention finally confirmed to free custom tax on the importing electricity from neighbor countries which requested by West division energy system stock owned company. The member of the State great convention had discussed the draft law to free tax of custom and added value tax, agreed and confirmed by 78.3% votes.
The West division energy system stock owned company buys electricity from Inter RAO YES LLC of Russia and delivers to Electricity distribution network company companies of Uvs, Khovd, Bayan-Ulgii aimag province as wholesale.
The West division energy system stock owned company imported 100.8million kWh energy, 5.1million kWh energy from China, Durgun hydro power plant produced 39.1million kWh energy and supplied west three aimag province by electricity in 2014.
This company buys 1kWh energy from Russia by 2.6RUB and delivers according to tariff and price of wholesale of 1kWh energy which confirmed by Committee of energy regulation to the Electricity distribution network company of Uvs province by 45.55TUG, to the Electricity distribution network company of Khovd by 52.47TUG, to the Electricity distribution network company of Bayan-Ulgii by 49.4TUG and to the Electricity distribution network company of Altai-Uliatai by 86.59TUG.
Whereas buys 1 kWh energy from Durgun hydro plant by 32.11TUG and delivers, sells, calculates through the Electricity distribution company by wholesale price. From China, buys 1kWh energy by 0.65RMB. And the Electricity distribution network companies sell 1kWh energy to households by 86.8TUG, to entities by 124.2TUG.
State had been paying subsidy loss cause of importing price is higher than sell but debt rise cause of no source for subsidy to pay for value added tax and custom tax of importing electricity.
The west division energy system stock owned company had worked with loss as 3,857,800,000 turgugs.
This company had worked with loss of 0.7 billion tugrugs, 3.7 billion tugrugs in 2013, 3.9 billion tugrugs in 2014, 4.1 billion tugrugs confirmed according to business plan in 2015.
Today’s State great convention finally confirmed that the West division energy system stock owned company need be free custom tax and value added tax on importing electricity. This free tax including calculate energy used by only households.
