REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CDM DOEs TO CONDUCT VERIFICATION SERVICE

FOR THE SALKHIT WIND FARM PROJECT

Clean Energy LLC invites eligible DOEs (Designated Operational Entities) to submit proposals in conducting verification service for the Salkhit Wind Farm Project, registered as CDM in 2012. Interested DOEs shall submit the following information in their proposals:

1.       Total duration of verification service

2.       Total number of people to be involved in verification, CVs of team members with proof of qualifications, accreditation and work experience

3.       Total budget of verification service including site trips

Clean Energy is a renewable energy company operating 50 MW Salkhit Wind Farm, the first wind project in Mongolia.  The project was commissioned in June 2013 and supplies generated electricity to the central grid under the power purchase agreement. The project site is located 70 km from the capital city of Ulaanbaatar in Sergelen soum of Tuv province. The net annual electricity generation is 168.5 GWh of electricity with an estimated annual emission reduction of 178,778tCO2e.

Verification service will cover half year production from the start of commissioning in June 2013 up to 31 Dec 2013. DOEs will be selected based on speed of service, qualification, professionalism and experience conducting verification service for wind projects in developing countries of Asia.
